It has been confirmed today (3 September 2008) that the CEO of ASEAMBANKERS, Surachet Chaipatamanont, will be resigning effective 1st October 2008.
Surachet joined Maybank Group as the Head of Corporate Investment Banking on 1st July 2006.
Mr Chaipatamanont resignation came after Maybank announced on 1st September 2008 that Maybank proposed to acquire BinaFikir and appointed Mohammed Rashdan Mohd Yusof as Chief Operating Officer and Feisal Wan Zahir as Head of Investment Banking, Aseambankers effective 1 September 2008.
