Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd has rejected Techventure Bhd’s appeal against the decision to de-list the company’s securities.
“Accordingly, the securities of TechVen will be removed from the official list of Bursa Securities on Feb 10,” it said on Wednesday.
Bursa Securities said following the delisting of TechVen, the company would continue to exist but as unlisted entities.
It said the company was still able to continue its operations and business and proceed with its corporate restructuring and the shareholders could still be rewarded by the company’s performance.
However, the shareholders will be holding shares which were no longer quoted and traded on Bursa Securities.
Alternatively, shareholders intending to hold their securities in the form of physical certificates could withdraw these securities from their Central Depository System (CDS) accounts with Bursa Depository, at anytime after the securities of the company are de-listed.
