BURSA PN4 and PN17 Companies

Bursa classified some listed companies with financial problem under two categories; PN4 and PN17. PN means Practice Note. Pro Trade Share will not be listing out the criteria. You can find out the details at Bursa Practice Notes link.
Basically PN4 listed companies are in worst position than PN17. There is also another group of companies that Bursa terms as almost but not yet meeting the financial criterias as PN17 which is called Companies under the Amended PN17 lists.
As at 5 April 2008;
(A) The PN4 companies are:

9. Mangium Industries Bhd
10. Megan Media Holdings Berhad
11. Merge Energy Berhad
12. OCI Berhad
13. Paxelent Corporation Bhd
14. PECD Berhad
15. Pilecon Engineering Berhad

As a guide, investors should be more careful when they want to invest in companies listed either as PN4, Amended PN17 or PN17.
